RTI developed this data story to support DoD STEM’s goals of making performance data for STEM education and workforce development programs publicly accessible. The data story allows a wide audience to review and assess the data, promoting informed discussions and holding the DoD accountable for its STEM initiatives. By reporting participation rates and analyzing the involvement of students traditionally underrepresented in STEM, the data story helps identify areas for targeted outreach and promotes diversity and inclusion within the STEM workforce.
