Providing transparency into hospital community benefit spending.

RTI, with support from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, developed Community Benefit Insight (CBI) to provide better access to the community benefit financial reporting data that tax-exempt hospitals provide to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) each year. CBI was designed to make these data accessible through robust search and comparison features and numerous interactive data visualizations that highlight spending trends across time, geography, and community benefit categories.
